what if i have already an image that I like and I need to swap the face on it. for instance, I want to add my own face to a beauty model photo I generated in mid-journey. Also how to do it with an image of multiple faces?

Is there any way to reference a scene instead of a character? --sref just copies the style. What if i want variations of the same scenery? Like my house for example, same house but maybe it looks older.

I think it would be cool (and alot easier) if one day, the tech advances to where you can just drag and drop an image of a character that's already in the style you want and you can just simply tell the ai to "have this character doing anime style leaps across rooftops" Click and done

hey just want to say thanks so much for the info ...gave that a try sure enough 98% went well. if you do say 4 square i can honestly say that it would give good results better than say doing one whole prompt and hoping for the best

Ok. But how do I get the same character consistency between seasons? Without having to generate a new character. I want the same character from session to session!!

People also build AI automation systems and rely on these dates to build systems that are for their clients. And when the "date" gets told to clients and then it doesn't happen it makes the business look bad. It's as if I was selling a product that was made at a manufacturer and promised my clients or customers on a ship date. Then the manufacturer tells me they will be late for more than 3 months. How does that make the business look in the eyes of the customers? I personally think they need to stay "top of mind" with the whole community and when they feel they are slipping off the radar, they throw out a new feature and worry about the repercussions later. If AI ever becomes able to mimic real, genuine art, I don't think I'd give a shit. AI "art" is soulless and worthless. I love how people tackled art as the first thing to be automatised instead of, I dunno... Anything else? Like... "Ah yes, now that I don't need to make art anymore, I can do much enjoyable things such as welding and road construction!"

Stop calling it art. If you can't copyright it, it's worthless.

Seems like we need to create the character in the style we would like to keep them in later. Any thoughts on that?

I can not get this to work at all. It does not recreate my face.

Something to add to this: Midjourney will still deform your model/focus as you zoom out, so what you can do is upscale your model when it is at the main detail point (usually face and shoulders for me) and then use something like photoshop to put the detailed image over the zoomed out full image and get all those juicy details back.

I think you might be lucky with it to be honest. It can create your look really well. No matter how I tweak it, it NEVER consistently gets my look even with many photo references. I'm pretty experienced as a prompter too, it just always comes out with look-alikes, but not one would be able to fool anyone.

As far as I'm concerned, business emails are intellectual property. There is no way I am giving copyrighted material to an AI bot. A handful of AI companies using diffusion models are sitting in federal court over the use of copyrighted material as input. These AI developers are attempting to Make IP law as we know it completely obsolete. One of the plaintiffs alleges that a Google search of her name as an artist retrieves Midjourney images instead of her actual artwork.

you have to click on the chat line after giving the name to set the value parameters. these are the images you want to set as the new "option" thats not clear in the video by going step by step
